GOD HAS GIVEN HIS THIRD CORRECTION TO GERALD FLURRY BY WAY OF ANOTHER TECHNICAL PROBLEM WITH HIS PRIVATE JET PLANE
The flight of Gerald Flurry from the UK to Israel last Feb 24 almost got canceled because the engine wouldn’t start. It was jump-started a number of times but to no avail. The pilot in command wanted to postpone the flight until a new starter arrives from the US and fitted on the plane in Birmingham. But Gerald Flurry stubbornly insisted on the pilot to make a final attempt to jump-start the engine one more time. While GRF and the party joining him on the flight were already aboard and just waiting for the final outcome of this last attempt, the jet engine whined softly at the beginning of the process and then in a while, the jet engine was whooshing louder until it finally powered up to the desired level. That made everyone on board cheered for joy!

TECHNICAL ISSUES WITH PCG’S PRIVATE PLANE HAVE AFFECTED GRF’S TRIPS 3X
That problem with the engine starter which almost caused the postponement of Gerald Flurry’s trip to Jerusalem is already the THIRD in a series of technical problems with PCG’s private jet plane which adversely affected his very important trips. Let us look in retrospect to the previous two other incidents in the past:
1) The trip to GRF’s public appearance campaign in Tampa Bay, Florida last January 20-21. The planned campaign was spoiled by a costly and upsetting malfunction of PCG’s private jet plane which delayed GRFs flight which had his staff rushing to arrange at last minute a chartered flight to take him to his destination. The cost to repair the plane alone amounted to USD80,000. Then, you can add to that the cost of chartering a private jet flight from Edmond, OK to Tampa Bay, Florida and back. The cost of chartering a small cabin jet is in the vicinity of USD2,000 to 2,500 per hour.
2) The trip to GRF’s public appearance campaign in Chicago, Illinois scheduled for July 16-17 in 2017. A minor accident at the hangar damaged one of the wings thus, grounding the aircraft. That resulted in the group chartering a private jet to take them to Chicago. GRF said in a sermon later that he considered the incident a correction from God.
GRF realized from the first incident that he considered the incident a correction from God. That’s taking on a humble attitude which God can see. But what about with the second and third incidents wherein his planned trips were also hampered? Where the succession of technical problems with PCG’s private jet plane not meant to get Gerald Flurry’s attention? Isn’t God trying to correct Gerald Flurry personally?
HERE’S THE BOTTOM LINE
The incident with the jet plane’s starter prior to departure from Birmingham to Tel Aviv last Sunday was the THIRD already. It must have a very IMPORTANT SIGNIFICANCE to Gerald Flurry. Number 3 means COMPLETION and applying this meaning to correction, that incident prior to GRF’s trip to Jerusalem may be the last one already that God has given and He expects GRF to act on His correction with great humility and wisdom.
GOD IS CERTAINLY GETTING GERALD FLURRY’S ATTENTION IN ORDER FOR HIM TO ACCOMPLISH HIS WILL IN BOTH SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL JERUSALEM.
Some people, both within PCG and the other COGs are saying that Gerald Flurry has gotten old and may already be in his twilight years His latest health issue with a crippling, painful condition in one of his legs is most likely being interpreted by ministers within the PCG as a sign that his time as the Pastor General is about to be prematurely ended.
The general membership who looks at Gerald Flurry with great respect and admiration are surely saddened in learning of his present predicament. But there are those who are quite titillated by the thought that Gerald Flurry might have to pass his baton to someone else in the ministry one of these days. Mr. Flurry may not have thought of this scenario in the earlier years but he is aware of it now after he has read God’s message for him in the Book of Remembrance. He is now aware of the betrayal happening inside the PCG.
Gerald Flurry must have recalled what Herbert W. Armstong said before regarding those ministers who were just waiting for him to die so they can take over the leadership of the WCG.
Here’s what HWA said in an article in the Worldwide News in June 24, 1985:
“For some years now, there have been some, like vultures, waiting for me to die. They would like to come back and take over the leadership of the church in my stead.”
We are now in a time where history repeats itself in God’s Church. There are Edomite Laodicean ministers who have actually betrayed the trust of Jesus Christ and they are identified in Eze 8:16 as 25 ministers in the inner court of God’s temple or the Church.
“And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.”
Those men include two prominent men who are described as “princes of the people” who correspond to two prominent ministers in the PCG. These two men are made known in Eze 11:1-2:
“Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD’S house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people. Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:”
Those two princes of the people allude to STEPHEN FLURRY and BRAD MACDONALD who are close allies and are the most prominent among the 25 Edomite ministers in the PCG. They were the ones responsible in bringing Gerald Flurry on a trip to Jerusalem last February 25 for some meetings the Pastor General was unaware of as to the reason and purpose. They brought him to Jerusalem in pursuit of their own self-serving purpose. They have their own agenda and for now, they have to pursue it while dragging Gerald Flurry to legitimize it. But with one of them holding the office of Pastor General in the near future, they need no one else to pursue their plans.

This church thing of following after a man is not what we are to be doing. We are to be making disciples of Jesus one on one. Two at a time are to be going out. Right? Not working a job and sending money to be supporting a work of a man. We were taught that the work was the job of “ministers” and that we were in training to teach in the kingdom. Where dose it say that this construct is what Jesus taught. If I read the words of Jesus Christ. He says to come follow him. Not wait in the wings working to support somebody else’s good works so that they can bear fruit. We are all desiples if we do what Jesus said to do. Put Back the corner stone. Follow Jesus not a man. Two people are all we need do the work. The harvest is ready and the laborers are few. Why? Do what Jesus said to. You can’t serve God and money. Quit your job. Sell all you have and give it to the poor and follow after Jesus. Stop working to pay someone else to do your job for you. And having a church with walls. Small groups of like minded people following after Jesus Christ alone. Not the corporate church structures of this world. Come out of HER my people. The internet can connect us and we can go out and seek desiples following Jesus. And trusting and walking in faith with works not walking in the way of sinners seeking money and personal gain. For what good is it if you gain the world and loose your soul. Leave the world and save your soul while you have a chance. Follow after Jesus Christ. Not a Shepard saying follow me. Mr. Armstrong admitted that he made a mistake before he died. He wondered if he had started something that would fail because of him after he was gone. And he was right. He pointed us to God. Others pointed us to him. And the work of Herbert Armstrong. But it’s the work of Jesus Christ our Shepard. And His body. The church of God. It was not suppose to be the worldwide church of Mr. Armstrong. You all better wake up and put oil in your lamps.
